The Washington Opera is in a superb

poster beds in selected rooms, the hotel is impeccably decorated in Gustavien and
Directoire styles. The hotel Facade is Louis XV and a spectacular view of the royal
gardens and the Louvre can be afforded from the 6th floor terrace. The hotel was a former
private town house of Madame de Pompadour and Stendhal stayed here for 6 months in 1822.
